Profile Summary 

My Research interests are driven by my musical background as an Indian Classical Vocalist, and my academic training in the disciplines of Economics, Ethnomusicology, and Sociology. My Doctoral research focuses on the Life and Musical Works of Raja Sir Sourindro Mohun Tagore (1840-1914) and the gradual emergence of Indian music on a Global level.

Scholarly Activity

Sahapedia is an online peer-reviewed portal on Indian culture. I have contributed two modules on the Life and Works of Raja Sir Sourindro Mohun Tagore (1840-1914) and Bandish Thumri of Lucknow, which includes an article along with visual and online materials.
